We started by removing the old surface and excavating the area to create a solid foundation. Proper grading was key to ensure good drainage and prevent water from collecting near the home or driveway. After that, we installed wooden forms to outline the shape of the new driveway and entrance. Once the layout was ready, we brought in our concrete truck and began pouring fresh concrete, section by section.
While pouring, our crew worked together to spread, level, and smooth the concrete for an even finish. We also added control joints to prevent future cracking and gave the surface a clean broom texture for better traction. The new entrance features a neat connection from the driveway to the front door, making it easy to walk and drive across without any uneven spots.
