Our team at Supreme Concrete Solutions recently finished another great project right here in Columbus, Ohio. This time, we worked on repairing a set of old cracked front stairs for a residential customer. The homeowner had been dealing with broken steps for years, which not only looked bad but also made it unsafe to use. We started by removing all the damaged concrete and cleaning up the area around the steps. After that, we built new wooden forms to shape the stairs properly and make sure each step had the right height and depth. Once the forms were ready, we mixed and poured fresh concrete. The crew worked carefully to spread, level, and smooth every step. When doing stairs, timing is key, you have to move quickly to finish the surface before the concrete begins to set, but also take your time to make sure every edge and corner comes out sharp and clean. After shaping the steps, we used our trowels to give the surface a nice professional finish.

The next day, once the concrete cured enough, we removed the forms and cleaned up the area. The final result was a strong, safe, and great looking set of concrete stairs that completely improved the home’s front entry. The new steps connect perfectly to the existing walkway, giving the house a fresh and welcoming look.
